When it comes to fishing in France at E'tang De Campus, unsurprisingly  Summer is the most popular time. In general, the French climate is one of the most temperate in Europe. However, it is a large country and the climate does differ according to geography. There are four main types:

• The North-West and mid-West of France has mild winters and cool summers with frequent     showers all year.
• Inland France has cold winters, but benefits from hot summers and medium rainfall.
• Mediterranean coast and up to 50km inland has mild winters and hot, dry summers, with sometimes heavy, sudden rainfall.

Best time of day for carp fishing in France

The best time to catch fish isn't especially scientific, but there are certain times that are better than others. It revolves around two main factors in freshwater: the weather and the moon. These two have as much to do with you catching carp, as any two single factors. As a matter of fact, in many cases the weather and moon probably play a bigger role in you catching a fish than the type of bait!

It's true, these two forces of Mother Nature play a very big role in the activity level of fish, and what do you suppose happens when fish tend to be more active? That's right, they feed more, which means that you'll get more bites!

Of course for some, this is far too serious for a fishing holiday. Sometimes it is simply best to pick the time when less fellow anglers are about.
